BOOKING

How do I book with an Entertainment Book?

Escape Hunt Adelaide is part of the current Entertainment Book. To use your voucher, book online for a 2-player game ($76) to secure your booking. Bring your voucher with you on the day (or bring your phone ready to redeem on your phone in-store) and we will apply the discount, with the balance being payable when you arrive. If you are only booking a 2-player game, you MUST book over the phone. We do not offer refunds for vouchers applied retrospectively.

If you have the Entertainment Book app you MUST redeem in store and not beforehand. Please wait until you arrive for our staff member to push the Redeem Now button. If you have any questions, or to book over the phone please call us on 8223 7770

Can I get a refund if I can’t come, or if some of my team don’t turn up?

Escape Hunt is a live experience. Once a booking is made, you have secured private access to that room for that time slot and we are unable to offer that session to any other players. Bookings are therefore final subject to management discretion and there are no refunds offered. We strongly suggest that if you are unsure as to your final numbers, that you book a 2-player game, and pay for your remaining players on the day.

Bookings may be rescheduled up to 1 week prior to your booking date, at the discretion of management. Bookings will not be refunded or rescheduled if you do not arrive for your allocated booking time. Any fee paid will be deemed a cancellation fee. Please therefore check your booking date and time carefully

How do I book for more than 5 people?

We recommend 2-5 players per room. You can squeeze 6 (but no more). If you have 6 players, we suggest you book for the minimum for 5 players and paying for the 6th when you arrive.

As we have 5 game rooms we can accommodate up to 30 people playing at the same time, so if your group is larger, you can book multiple rooms.  We also have a large lounge and bar, so for even larger groups we can split the game time, with part of the group staying in the bar or taking part in other activities! We have lots of packages available that provide a variety of options, so please call us on 8223 7770 or email [email protected] and we can help find the best solution for you and your group!

Is there an age limit?

Escape Hunt is suitable from 7 years to 107 years! There are no strenuous activities required so it means almost anyone can play. The games are tough and designed for adults, but kids 7 and over can have a fabulous time with an adult’s help. Please note that we do not allow children under 7 into the rooms at all and one paying player in every room must be 16 years or over.

How much does it cost?

Our pricing depends on how many people go into each room. 2 players is $38pp; 3 players is $36pp; 4 players is $34pp and 5-6 players is $30pp.

What is Escape Hunt?

Escape Hunt is the closest you’re likely to get to starring in a brilliantly plotted escape movie. You and your teammates are locked in a themed room and must find and solve a series of puzzles and clues to escape. The pressure is on, the clock is ticking, and the adrenalin is pumping. Escape Hunt isn’t something you watch, it’s a totally immersive experience and you’re in the heart of the action. We make you earn your freedom, throwing all sorts of devious red herrings, dead ends and misdirection your way. It’s completely immersive, utterly addictive and totally entertaining.

OTHER QUESTIONS WE’RE OFTEN ASKED

What should I bring? What should I wear?

Just your brain and your reading glasses! We’ll ask you to lock all other belongings in a locker outside the room before you commence your game.

There is no dress code, we just ask you to please keep your shoes on at all times.

Do you serve food and drinks?

We have a beautiful lounge bar in which you can enjoy a selection of local wines, beer, cider, spirits and soft drinks. We also sell bar snacks like nuts, chips and popcorn. If you’re booking one of our Party Packages, you can also choose to pre-order from our delicious catering options.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Some of our games are wheelchair accessible. From our lobby, there is lift access to all floors, however the street entry to our building does have a step. We recommend giving us a call to discuss your requirements before booking, to make sure we can accommodate your needs.

Is it scary?

Оur escape rooms are designed to get your brain ticking and your adrenalin pumping, but the scariest thing you’ll find in there is the ticking of the clock. There are no elements of horror and nothing spooky in any of our rooms.

I’m claustrophobic, will I hate it?

No way! Whilst are rooms aren’t massive, you are not confined, nor are you actually locked in or prevented from leaving. We very rarely have anyone leave due to claustrophobia.

Am I really locked in the room?

Whilst we like you to feel the pressure of being trapped in the room, due to Health & Safety reasons, the door does not have a lock and you are able to leave freely.
