“Several years ago I created a new course for our PEAC (Primary Extension and Challenge) program. Inspired by my engineering son, I called it Break Out and it was based on escape rooms. It is THE most popular course because we go to Escape Hunt. Escape Hunt offers a variety of rooms that are suitable for almost any age (my students are Years 5/6) and the kids absolutely adore it. Amber and her team are so welcoming, are willing to adjust to my constraints and to make the most fabulous learning and challenging environment for everyone. The kids come away absolutely mind blown! A brilliant excursion!”
Frequently asked questions
What year levels are your school excursions suitable for?
Games are recommended for ages 7 and up. Players aged 12 and under need a person aged 16 or over in the room with them, which supervising teachers usually cover.
How many students can you take at once?
Rooms take 2 to 6 students each, and The Legend of the Sword and Wild Western Jail Break take 4 to 10, so a class splits across rooms and plays head to head. Outdoor adventures take up to 30 students at a time.
How long does a school visit run?
An indoor game runs 60 minutes and outdoor adventures run about 90 minutes. Allow extra time either side for briefing, photos and moving the group.
What do students get out of it?
Every game needs communication, delegation and problem solving under time pressure, and students quickly work out who in the group is good at what. Our hosts give hints so no team gets stuck or left behind.
Can you run it outdoors?
Yes. Our outdoor adventures send teams out around Fremantle with the game running on a phone, which suits larger groups and good weather.
How do we book and what does it cost?
Download our schools pack for the detail, or send an enquiry with your preferred dates, year level and student numbers and we will come back with availability and a quote.
