Welcome to Escape Hunt Brisbane

Before we get you playing, we just need to grab a few details and sort out the Ts & Cs.

Please ensure all members of your group complete the following waiver before your Escape Room. If you have played at Escape Hunt Brisbane in the past, you do not need to complete the waiver a second time.

    Terms and Conditions: General

    1. If I am under the age of 18, I have the permission of a parent or guardian to participate and confirm that there is a responsible participant over the age of 15 in the game room.

    2. I understand that I will be briefed on the rules of Escape Hunt Brisbane, and I agree to understand and abide by those rules and all signage during my participation.

    3. Escape Hunt Brisbane will ensure the games are managed and operated with due care and skill and that the equipment and materials used are for the purpose for which they are supplied. I agree to use the services and materials as intended and participate in the said games at my own risk.

    4. I acknowledge Escape Hunt Brisbane shall take appropriate steps to ensure all my personal property is safe, but shall not be responsible for loss of my personal property.

    5. I accept liability for the cost of any damage to the venue caused by me as a participant.

    6. In the event of injury, Escape Hunt Brisbane reserves the right to call an ambulance on my behalf, at my cost.

    7. If I have opted in, I agree to allow Escape Hunt Brisbane to contact me regarding promotional offers and that if I give permission, my picture may be used on the Escape Hunt Brisbane social media pages. I acknowledge that I can withdraw this permission at any time by either unsubscribing or contacting Escape Hunt Brisbane.

    8. I acknowledge that Escape Hunt Brisbane retains the right to withdraw permission for me to continue in the game at any time.

    9. I agree to not discuss, divulge or circulate any content of the games or any other proprietary information directly or indirectly to the public.

    10. I acknowledge that Escape Hunt Brisbane may refuse me entry to the game rooms if I am deemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Security may be called at my expense if I do not comply with staff direction in this matter.

    11. In respect of, or any way, arising out of my negligence or my failure to abide by the rules of Escape Hunt Brisbane gameplay, I agree to indemnify Escape Hunt Brisbane against all actions, proceedings, claims, demands, cost and expenses.

    ESCAPE HUNT BRISBANE PTY LTD AS TRUSTEE FOR ESCAPE TRUST ABN 85 389 819 360

    In consideration of my participation, I agree to indemnify Escape Hunt Brisbane in the following manner:

    12. Participate in the activity at my sole risk and responsibility and agree to hold harmless Escape Hunt Brisbane with respect to any injury or damage suffered by me or caused by me to any other person where arising from any negligence on the part of any servant or agent of Escape Hunt Brisbane or from any other cause.

    13. I accept the venue as it stands with all or any defects hidden or exposed.

    14. I hereby indemnify and shall keep indemnified Escape Hunt Brisbane, its servants, agents, officials against any action of claims which may be made on my behalf or by other parties for or in respect of or arising out of any injury, loss, death or damage cause by my equipment where caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other manner.

    Terms and Conditions: Outdoor Escape

    In addition to the terms and conditions detailed previously, I acknowledge and agree as follows:

    1. At least one person over the age of 18 must be present for the duration of the game. This person must provide valid photo ID prior to the commencement of your game. Escape Hunt will hold this ID for the duration of your game, and return it to you upon completion and return to Escape Hunt Brisbane.

    2. This game will take place outside the Escape Hunt venue in the suburbs surrounding 77 Russell Street, West End, QLD, 4101.

    3. I will always cross the road at a designated crossing and not walk onto the road.

    4. I will not cause disturbance to the general public. I understand that completing an Escape Hunt Outdoor game will not require interaction with people outside the Escape Hunt venue.

    5. I understand that completing an Escape Hunt Outdoor game will not require physical exertion including but not limited to: running, climbing, and crawling.

    6. I acknowledge and assume any and all risks associated with participating in an outdoor escape, including but not limited to: physical exertion, illness, travelling, the effects of weather (including temperate extremes, humidity, and wet weather), traffic, contact with pedestrians and the general public, the condition of the terrain on roads and sidewalks, and damage to personal property.

    7. I agree that I am in good physical condition to complete the activity. I acknowledge that the activity will involve an approximately 2km walk through the suburbs surrounding 77 Russell Street, West End, QLD, 4101.

    8. I agree that I am liable for damage, loss, or theft of Escape Hunt property.

    9. I understand that there will be no need to move or use force on any items in public that are not the property of Escape Hunt Brisbane. I agree that I am liable for any damages made to public property during the course of my experience.
