Escape Hunt offers school excursions! Your students and staff will bond together, being required to flex their team muscles and put their communication, strategy and lateral thinking skills to the test. The adrenalin-pumping fun takes over and they’re improving their team dynamics without even realising it. Your students will experience a quality, outcome driven team activity, and have the best time doing it. We can run an icebreaker to set the mood and make use of our private function area to debrief post-game with optional catering and drinks.

Frequently asked questions

What year levels are your school excursions suitable for?

Our games suit students aged 7 and up. Players aged 12 and under need at least one person aged 15 or over in the room with them, which supervising teachers usually cover.

How many students can you take at once?

Rooms take 2 to 6 students each, and The Legend of the Sword takes 4 to 10, so a class is split across rooms and plays head to head. We can run up to 46 students in a session, and outdoor adventures take larger groups again.

How long does a school visit run?

An indoor game runs 60 minutes, and outdoor adventures run up to 2 hours. Allow extra time either side for briefing, photos and moving the group.

What do students actually get out of it?

Every game needs communication, delegation and problem solving under time pressure, and students have to work out who in the group is good at what. Our hosts give hints so no team gets stuck.

Is it suitable for students with accessibility needs?

Several of our rooms are wheelchair accessible and we have an Accessibility Information Pack on the FAQs page with the detail for each game. Tell us about the group when you enquire and we will match you to the right rooms.
