Safety has always been a top priority at Escape Hunt. In light of Covid-19, we have implemented stringent protocols for regularly cleaning and disinfecting.

All rooms will be full cleaned and sanitized between every guest experience. Special attention will be paid to all common surfaces in our location.

The use of masks is not mandatory, but we do encourage you to use them for your safety and the safety of others.

Starting from June 1st, 2022 have returned to public games. To book privately at the moment you will have to purchase all tickets to the room. (additional tickets will be at a 50% rate, be sure you meet the minimum requirement of the room) Call us to book privately!

Think of Escape Hunt as the closest you’re likely to get to starring in a brilliantly plotted escape movie. You and your teammates get locked in a themed room and have to find and solve a series of clues in order to escape. The pressure’s on, the clock’s ticking, the adrenaline’s pumping. Escape Hunt isn’t something you watch, it’s something you experience – right in the heart of the action. We make you earn your freedom, throwing all manner of devious and dastardly red herrings, dead ends and misdirections your way. It’s completely immersive, utterly addictive and totally entertaining. After Escape Hunt, other entertainment just feels flat.

We have several rooms at The Escape Hunt Experience Houston split into different adventures. Each has an exciting and different theme. Each theme has an entirely different set of puzzles and codes so you can come back to play another room later and still enjoy the experience equally.

Yes! We take the health & safety of our players very seriously. The entry door to every game room remains unlocked throughout the game, meaning that players are able to leave freely in the event of an issue or emergency. Every game room contains regularly tested fire alarms and we display emergency evacuation plans clearly. Your games are also monitored at all times by trained game masters. We conduct regular health & safety risk assessments of the entire premises, and we test and tag our electronic equipment annually.

You have 60 minutes to escape! You’ll need to arrive 15 minutes early for a pre-game briefing, and afterwards we’ll invite you to take a team photo. Allow for 90 minutes, at least.

You will need 2-6 players for most rooms. For ‘Houston We’ve Had a Problem’, we require a minimum of 6 players (max 12). For larger groups, you may book identical rooms and race one another head-to-head. Please contact Escape Hunt to learn more.

They’re ALL exciting! If it is your first time experiencing escape rooms at Escape Hunt Houston, we always recommend ‘Theft of the Lone Star’ as a great game to start with.

Starting on June 1st, 2022, Escape Hunt Houston is switching back to public games. That means you may be joining other customers in your escape room experience! More teammates means a higher chance of success! And if you are looking at playing “Houston, We’ve Had A Problem” and don’t have at least 6 players you can join up with another group!

Keep in mind this does mean you need to purchase tickets for every participant of the room no matter the age.

Yes you can! As long as you meet the minimum requirements of the room just give us a call and we can set up a private game! To have a private game we will require the group to purchase the additional tickets in the room at a 50% rate.

So if there are 3 spots left in your room and you would like a private game, then you would be buying those additional 3 tickets for 50% off.

We cannot book a private game if there is already customers who have booked for that time.

Absolutely! Waivers are required for all participants at Escape Hunt Houston. Adults over the age of 18 may sign waivers for themselves. If any participants are 17 or under, a parent or legal guardian must fill out and sign their waiver. If you will not be attending with your child, please fill it out in advance!

All rooms are $35.95 per participant! ($38.92 with taxes)

All bookings should be made in advance. We HIGHLY recommend booking online to confirm your place.

We are a cash-free business. 

We can accept walk-ins based on availability. But remember we do not accept cash.

Our games are PG unless stated otherwise – so kids aged ten and over are good to go. Keep in mind all people entering the game no matter the age require a ticket.

Those 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+) while playing the game.

Since our games are public we require an adult from your group to be joining any kids. Keep in mind you still need to fit within the minimum/maximum of the room.

All players must have waivers in order to participate.

Arrangements change, we understand. That’s why, if you can no longer make your booking, we’ll do everything we can to reschedule your game free of charge, provided the new date is within 30 days of your original booking. To find out more or change a booking, please get in touch us. We will only allow the moving of a game twice.

Certainly, you can add an extra person to the booking if you’re still within the maximum number of people for each game and the other tickets are still available.

We do have a no cancelation/no refund policy. Unfortunately, we don’t provide refunds if someone doesn’t arrive or play.

The only time we offer refunds is if we have to close and have the room unavailable. For example a power outage. But payments through PayPal are final and can only receive store credit or moving your game.

Yes. We do our best to ensure our adventures are friendly to everyone. Please let us know if you have any special needs that require accommodation.

Wanting some extra fun before your game? BYOB is the option for you. You bring your own beer/seltzers/wine and we will provide coolers and ice. We will also provide the space in the lobby to enjoy those for up to 60 minutes before your game starts. Drinks will not be permitted inside the game room. To provide this service is an extra $12/person cost. To add this to your booking use the code: BYOB in the promo code box during checkout to add the fee.

TERMS:

AGES 21+ ONLY, IDs will be checked at the door.

Hard Alcohol, glass containers, and open cups are NOT allowed.

Drinking on premises without BYOB is NOT allowed. You may purchase BYOB in person as well but at $15 per person.

The space is public so noise must be kept to a certain level as well.

If any guest is found to be troublesome we have the right to ask them to leave.

If asked to leave by not following our rules there will be NO REFUND.

We know it can be hard to find parking, but worry not! We provide free parking for our customers and the instructions for this can be found in your booking confirmation email or by following the link here.

Just your brain and your reading glasses! We’ll ask you to lock all other belongings in a locker outside the room before you start your game.

There is no dress code, we just ask you to please keep your shoes on at all times.

We do require everyone participating in the game to sign a waiver. While you can do this when you arrive, if you want to be ahead of the game you can follow this link to sign your waiver. Just be sure to set the date as the date you will be attending.  Any participants under 18 will require an adult to sign the waiver for them.

Unfortunately, we do not allow cameras, cell phones or any other recording devices in the rooms. We provide a secure space for your items to wait for you outside the room. We encourage you and your team of Escape Hunters to take as many pictures as you’d like in our Lounge using our Houston Photo Wall as a great backdrop. We have a large range of props and costumes that you are free to use as well.
