Hereinafter referred to as “EH Bordeaux”
To use our website and play our games, you must confirm that you accept the following:
PREAMBLE:
All bookings are final. They may be rescheduled up to 5 days in advance, subject to availability. With less than 5 days’ notice, no changes, cancellations or rescheduling are permitted. Under no circumstances is any part of the booking refundable.
Under Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for bookings of leisure activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period. Consequently, any booking of an escape game session made for a specific time slot is firm and final and is not subject to the statutory right of withdrawal.
However, the purchase of gift certificates or gift sets made remotely is subject to the statutory right of withdrawal of fourteen (14) days provided for in Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, provided that no reservation for a specific date has yet been made.
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code regarding “the consumer dispute mediation process,” after contacting us and failing to receive a satisfactory response, you may initiate a free consumer mediation procedure with:

GENERAL
1.1. Each scenario is designed for a minimum and maximum number of players (please refer to the game descriptions in the ‘Book’ section of the website); no exceptions will be made. You will always have exclusive use of your game room for your team only.
1.2. The trademarks and logos appearing on the website are the property of EH Bordeaux. You are not authorised to use these without the prior written consent of EH Bordeaux, and you accept that such use may constitute an infringement of the relevant owner’s rights.
1.3. These terms and conditions and any contract entered into incorporating these terms and conditions are governed by French law, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
1.4. All the terms of this contract are included within these terms and conditions.
1.5. EH Bordeaux collects and stores your personal data without disclosing it to any third party and is committed to ensuring that the confidentiality of your personal information is protected.
1.6. Due to the nature of the game, no photographs or recordings may be taken inside the room.
1.7. EH Bordeaux expects its visitors and customers not to disclose details of the game, either directly or indirectly, to the public.
1.8. EH Bordeaux allows you to unsubscribe from any offers and promotions that the company may send by email.
1.9. EH Bordeaux is entitled to charge customers for any damage, whether intentional or caused by misuse of the items.
1.10. Whilst on our premises, you must follow our rules and regulations, behave appropriately, and cooperate with our staff at all times
1.11. EH Bordeaux does not tolerate any form of harassment or intimidation towards its staff.
1.12. The Bloctel cold-calling opt-out list enables consumers to stop receiving unsolicited sales calls from businesses.

2.1. The website https://bordeaux.escapehunt.com/ is owned and operated by EH Bordeaux. The company reserves the right to amend or modify these terms and conditions, including all content on the website, from time to time at its sole discretion and without prior notice. The terms and conditions that apply are those set out at the time of booking.
2.2. The following terms apply to any visitor’s use of the Escape Hunt website and must be read carefully before use.
2.3. The Escape Hunt website is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, licence, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website.
2.4. You are not permitted to link to or use all or part of the Escape Hunt website for any fraudulent, illegal, defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable purpose.
2.5. The trademarks and logos appearing on the website are the property of ‘Escape Hunt Ltd’. You are not authorised to use them without prior written permission, and you accept that such use may constitute an infringement of intellectual property rights.

Bookings
3.1. Only persons aged 18 or over are permitted to book a game.
3.2. A booking is only confirmed once it has been processed by Escape Hunt.
3.3. We do not permit the transfer of games to another party. You must contact us in special circumstances.
3.4. Games may not be transferred or resold for commercial purposes. If a game is transferred or resold in breach of this condition, the holder of the game or the person claiming the right to attend the event will be refused entry.
3.5. You are entirely responsible for entering your details on the online booking form. By submitting an online booking form, you warrant to Escape Hunt that all details provided by you are true and accurate. 3.6. You will receive confirmation of your booking by email only. EH Bordeaux does not send confirmations by post or text message.
3.7. Online bookings can only be made a specific number of hours or days in advance. For further information or if you wish to book outside these timeframes, please contact EH Bordeaux Experience by email or telephone.
3.8. If the team is 15 minutes or more late, they may be admitted but will only be able to play for the remaining time originally scheduled, i.e. 45 minutes or less instead of 60 minutes. In such a situation, the fee is non-refundable and the booking cannot be amended.
3.9. All bookings are final. Bookings cannot be cancelled. A booking may be amended up to 5 days in advance, subject to availability. With less than 5 days’ notice, no changes or postponements are possible. In the rare event that we may need to offer a rescheduling, amendment or any other service, an administration fee may be charged and you will be notified of this in advance. Please also note that customers cannot request a refund (or credit note) after making a booking if they did not enter a discount code at the time of booking on our website. Regarding bookings made on the basis of a quotation (reserved for organisations holding a SIRET number), the same amendment/cancellation policy will apply once the booking has been confirmed and formalised (a signed quotation returned, leading to the issue of the invoice, which is the final accounting document, for payment prior to the service being provided). Should a request be made to amend the issued invoice less than 5 days before the event, a fee of €30 (excl. VAT) will be charged. In specific cases where the venue is booked for a private event, a charge of 20% of the cost of the private hire (excluding additional services) will apply to any cancellation request made between 5 and 15 days before the event. The due date for payment of an invoice is the date of the Escape Hunt event (unless otherwise agreed in writing with the customer), unless otherwise stated on the invoice. In accordance with Article L. 441-6 of the Commercial Code, late payment penalties at an annual rate of 20 per cent and a compensation fee of €40 are payable in the event of non-payment on the day following the payment date stated on the invoice, for our business clients
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, which stipulates that the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for leisure activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period, the purchase of a subscription, tickets or individual vouchers is not subject to the right of withdrawal.
In the event of a dispute, you may make use of the CM2C mediation service, of which we are a member, free of charge, by using the online service at www.cm2c.net, by email to [email protected], or by post to 12 rue Saint Jean, 75017 Paris, for any complaint. Please note that recourse to mediation is only possible provided that your complaint has not previously been examined by a court or another mediator, and that it has already been raised with our Customer Services department. Mediation does not apply to disputes between businesses.
3.10. Force Majeure. EH Bordeaux shall not be liable for any delays or obstacles causing a delay in your arrival, whether caused by bad weather, strikes, protests, flooding, traffic congestion, civil unrest or any other reason. These examples constitute potential cases of force majeure, subject to the sole discretion of the courts. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for your booking.

PRICE AND PAYMENT
4.1. The price (including VAT) of a game per person is indicated on the Escape Hunt Experience website in the booking section.
4.2. The price is set according to the number of people in a room (2–5 people) and the day of the week.
4.3. Reservations can be made online on the Escape Hunt Experience website, by phone, by email, or in person at the branch.
4.4. The list of different payment methods accepted on the website (credit or debit cards, bank transfer, etc.) is specified on the booking website.
4.5. Full payment is required at the time of booking on the website. Otherwise, payment can be made at the time of the visit by card, cash, cheque, or holiday vouchers if a security cheque has been deposited beforehand (or sent by post).
4.6. If fewer people than expected attend the event, the price difference will not be refunded.
4.7. If more people than expected are present (up to 5 people), the additional charge can be paid in cash or by card upon arrival for the game.

SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT
6.1. Each player of the Escape Hunt experience will be supervised before and during their game by a game master. After learning the rules of the game, each player participates at their own risk. Furthermore, EH Bordeaux is not responsible for any damage (personal injury or property damage) caused by inappropriate use of the game room or by failure to follow the rules explained before the game by the game master.
6.2. If you are more than 15 minutes late compared to the scheduled time of your booking, you will not be able to play for the full duration originally planned for your reservation.
6.3. Persons under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs may be turned away and the game will become void. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any person who is unfit, abusive, or inappropriate in any way, at the sole discretion of the owners and staff of Escape Hunt.
6.4. Drinks and food may not be brought into the game rooms or reception rooms.
6.5. To be admitted, you must confirm the full name of the person who made the booking, and that person may be asked to confirm the phone number and email address, as well as show a passport or ID card and a credit card.
6.6. For safety reasons, children under 8 years old are not allowed to enter the reception or the game rooms. All children under 14 must be accompanied by at least one adult at all times.
6.7. As the size of the reception lobby is limited, EH Bordeaux asks players to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the game so that the game master can properly take care of the players and explain in detail the nature of the game, its risks, and its constraints in order to make the experience enjoyable and safe.
6.8. The Escape Hunt Experience recommends that its customers wear comfortable clothing for the game.

COPYRIGHT AND CONFIDENTIALITY
7.1. All names, designs, and slogans used on the website, in any marketing activity, and on the premises are the property of Escape Hunt Co. Ltd and its owners. No use or reproduction of any kind is permitted.
7.2. All Escape Hunt players agree not to discuss, disclose, or distribute any information concerning the content of the games or any other proprietary information.
9. Gift vouchers
When purchasing a gift voucher, the buyer has a 14-day withdrawal period under the conditions set out in Articles L.221-23 to L.221-25 of the French Consumer Code.
This period runs from:
1° The date of contract conclusion for gift voucher purchases
2° The date of receipt of the goods by the consumer or a designated third party for gift box sales
When redeeming gift vouchers or gift boxes, the booking conditions set out in Section 3 (Bookings) apply, including the waiver of the right of withdrawal under Article L.221-28.
Withdrawal Form
In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the purchaser of a gift certificate has a statutory period of fourteen (14) days to exercise their right of withdrawal, where applicable.
To exercise this right, the consumer may use the standard withdrawal form provided below or any unambiguous statement expressing their intention to withdraw.

In accordance with applicable regulations, the refund will be issued within a maximum of fourteen (14) days from receipt of the withdrawal request.
10.“AT-HOME” ESCAPE GAMES
5.1. Downloadable Escape Game products are not subject to a right of withdrawal under Article L.121-21-8, 3° of the French Consumer Code.
5.2. It is prohibited to copy, extract, distribute, or modify the content of these products for commercial purposes. Downloading and printing content is permitted for private, non-commercial use only. Any reproduction of drawings, images, audio documents, video sequences, or texts in other electronic or printed publications requires prior written consent from What Sons. Unauthorized use constitutes an offense of counterfeiting.
11.PROMOTIONS
Special offers and packages cannot be combined with promotional codes.
If a promotional code is used on an ineligible offer, the standard price of the selected package will apply.
10. Use of work council tickets
Tickets purchased via partner platforms (Meyclub, HelloCSE, etc.) entitle the holder to take part in an escape game session for between 2 and 5 players, subject to the terms and conditions of the ticket.
These tickets cover the game experience only and do not include any additional options or services.
Any additional options (including, but not limited to: pre-game drinks, event packages, private hire, extra games, etc.) will be subject to an additional charge.
In the event of a booking including an option, the customer undertakes to pay the corresponding amount directly to the venue, in accordance with the rates in force on the day of the service.
