Terms & Conditions | Escape Hunt Maastricht

Read the general terms and conditions of Escape Hunt Maastricht and the umbrella Escape Hunt organisation. These are binding for all reservations.

1. Binding agreement

Reservations made and confirmed via the website or by email confirmed by Escape Hunt Maastricht are binding.

2. Payments

Payments for reservations can be made online via Ideal, Credit Card, GiroPay or Bancontact. All reservations must be paid when making the reservation unless otherwise agreed.

3. Cancellation

Reservations cannot be cancelled. The Distance Selling Act does not apply to accommodation, transport, restaurant services or leisure activities that you agree on a fixed date. You can of course take out cancellation insurance with your own travel insurance. Reservations that have not (yet) been paid must therefore also be paid from the moment the reservation is confirmed by Escape Hunt Maastricht or the confirmation is received online. Changing a reservation means a cancellation of the existing reservation. In consultation, Escape Hunt Maastricht can accommodate this and only charge amendment costs.

4. The game

Minimum age for participation is 11 years, with at least 1 adult present per game between 11 and 15 years,
2-6 people per game.
People under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be denied access to the Escape Room. In that case, no refund of the entrance fee will be made.
If at the start of the game an employee of the Escape Room doubts the condition of a participant, the employee has the right to refuse this participant without refund.
You must be present at the exact time reserved, if you are late this will be deducted from the playing time.
There is camera surveillance for the safety of the participants. Instructions must be followed at all times.
It is not allowed to use brute force or to force things during the game.
Access to the Escape Room and playing this game is entirely at your own risk.
We are not responsible for personal property and/or damage caused to it.

5. Confidentiality

The fun of Escape Hunt Maastricht is preserved when only the experience, but not the secrets, is shared. Therefore consider yourself bound to confidentiality.

By using our website, booking and playing our games, or purchasing gift vouchers or gift boxes, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1.1. The information contained in this website is for general information purposes only. We hold the right to amend or vary these terms and conditions including any of the contents of the website from time to time at our sole discretion without prior notice.
1.2. The trademarks and logos displayed on the website are the property of Escape Hunt plc (“Escape Hunt”). You are not permitted to use these without prior written permission from us and you accept that any such use may constitute an infringement of the relevant owner’s rights.
1.3. These terms and conditions and any contract concluded incorporating these terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and all disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
1.4. We may link to third party websites; you use them at your own risk and we cannot accept any responsibility for this.

2. The escape hunt website

2.1. You accept that the Internet is not fully secure. Escape Hunt shall not be liable for any damage that you may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of any such information.
2.2. Neither Escape Hunt nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
2.3. The Escape Hunt website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website.
2.4. You are not permitted to link to or use all or any part of the Escape Hunt website for any purpose which is fraudulent, unlawful, defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable.

All names, designs and slogans used on the website, in any marketing and at the premises are the copyright of Escape Hunt and its owners. No use or reproduction of any kind is allowed.

All players at Escape Hunt by making a booking agree to undertake not to discuss, divulge or circulate any information regarding the content of the games or any other proprietary information. By playing the games, all players agree not to pass on this information or they will render themselves liable to prosecution under breach of confidentiality rules.
