General Terms and Conditions
To use our website and come and play our games, it is necessary to confirm acceptance of the following:
- GENERAL
1.1 These terms and conditions have been updated on 19 December 2017.
1.2. Each scenario is designed for a minimum and maximum number of players (refer to the game sheets in the booking section of the website), no exception will be possible. You always have private use of your game room for your teams only.
1.3 The trademarks and logos appearing on the website are the property of The Escape Hunt Experience. You may not use these without prior written consent from The Escape Hunt Experience and you agree that such use may constitute a violation of the rights of the owner concerned.
1.4. These terms and conditions and any contract concluded incorporating these terms and conditions are governed by French law and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
1.5. All the terms of this contract that are included are in these terms and conditions.
1.6. The Escape Hunt Experience collects and stores your personal data without disclosing it to a third party and is dedicated to ensuring that the confidentiality of your personal information is protected.
1.7. Due to the nature of the game, no photo or recording can be taken inside the room.
1.8. The Escape Hunt Experience expects its visitors and customers to not disclose details of the game directly or indirectly to the public.
1.9. The Escape Hunt Experience allows you to unsubscribe from mailings of offers and promotions that the company may send by e-mail.
1.10. The Escape Hunt Experience is entitled to charge customers for any damages, whether intentional or caused by improper use of the items.
1.11. While you are on our premises, you must follow our rules and regulations, adopt appropriate standards of behaviour, and cooperate with our employees at all times.
1.12. The Escape Hunt Experience does not tolerate any form of harassment or intimidation of its employees.

2.1. The website https://larochelle.escapehunt.com/ is owned and operated by The Escape Hunt Experience. The Company reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions, including all website content from time to time at its sole discretion and without notice. The terms and conditions that apply are those indicated at the time of booking.
2.2. The following terms apply to the use by any visitor of the Escape Hunt website and should be read carefully before use.
2.3. The Escape Hunt Experience website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works, transfer or sell any information obtained from this website.
2.4. You may not link to or use any or all of the Escape Hunt Experience website for any fraudulent, illegal, defamatory, harmful, obscene or objectionable purpose.
2.5. You accept that the website is not completely secure. The Escape Hunt Experience will take all appropriate measures to protect the security of payment and credit/debit card information and Escape Hunt will not be liable for any damages you may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of such information.
- BOOKINGS
3.1. Only people who are at least 18 years old are allowed to book a game.
3.2. Any booking is only confirmed if it has been processed by Escape Hunt.
3.3. We do not allow for the transfer of games to another party. You must contact us for specific cases.
3.4. Games cannot be transferred or resold for commercial purposes. If a game is transferred or resold in breach of this condition, the bearer of the game or the person claiming the right to attend the event will be refused entry.
3.5. You are fully responsible for entering your details on the on-line booking form. By submitting an on-line booking form you guarantee to Escape Hunt that all details provided by you are true and accurate. 3.6. You will receive confirmation of your booking by e-mail only. The Escape Hunt Experience does not send confirmation by post or text message.
3.7. On-line bookings can be made only in a specified number of hours or days in advance. For more information or outside of these constraints, please contact The Escape Hunt Experience by e-mail or phone.
3.8. A booking becomes void and entry may be refused if the team is 15 minutes or more late. In such a situation, money is non-refundable and the booking is non-changeable.
3.9. All bookings are final. No cancellations of bookings are possible. A booking can be modified up to 5 days before depending on availability. Under 5 days, no change or postponement is possible. In the rare case where we could be required to provide re-planning, modification, or any other services, administration costs are likely to be charged and will be communicated to you in advance. It should also be noted that the customer cannot request a refund (a credit note) after booking if they have not entered a discount code at the time of booking on our website. Regarding the case of booking on quotation (reserved to the organisations holding a SIRET company registration number), the same policy of amendment/cancellation will be applied as soon as the booking is confirmed and formalised (quotation returned signed generating the edition of the invoice, final accounting document, for payment before delivery. In the event of a request for amendment of the invoice published more than 5 days before the event, a fee of € 30 excluding taxes will be charged. For special cases of private use of the premises, a billing of 20% of the cost of private use (excluding additional services) will be proposed for any cancellation request between 5 and 15 days of the event. The due date of the payment of an invoice corresponds to the date of the Escape Hunt event (unless prior written agreement with the customer), or contrary to the deadline of payment indicated on the invoice. In accordance with Article L. 441-6 of the Commercial Code, penalties for late payment, at an annual rate of 20%, and an indemnity of € 40 are due in the absence of payment on the day following the payment date appearing on the invoice for our business customers.
3.10. Force Majeure. The Escape Hunt Experience is not responsible for delays or disruptions causing the delay of your arrival whether it be caused by bad weather, strikes, protests, floods, traffic jams, civil unrest or any other reason. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for your booking.
- PRICE AND PAYMENT
4.1. The price (with VAT included) of a game per person is indicated on the Escape Hunt Experience website in the booking section.
4.2. The price is fixed according to the number of people in a room (2-5 people) and the day of the week.
4.3. Bookings can be made on-line through the Escape Hunt Experience website, by phone, e-mail or in person at the branch.
4.4. The list of different payment methods that are accepted on the website (credit or debit cards, bank transfer etc.) are specified on the booking website.
4.5. Full payment is required at the time of booking on the website. Otherwise the payment can be made at the time of the visit by card, cash, cheque or holiday voucher if a deposit cheque is deposited before (or sent by post).
4.6. If fewer people than expected come to the event, the price difference will not be refunded.
4.7. If more people than expected attend (up to 5 people) the additional fee can be paid in cash or by card at the time of arrival for the game.

- SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT
6.1. Each player of the Escape Hunt Experience will be supported before and during their game by a game master. After learning the rules of the game, each player will participate in the game at their own risk. In addition, The Escape Hunt Experience is not responsible for damages (bodily or material) caused by improper use of the game room or failure to follow the rules described before the game by the game master.
6.2. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your booking time, the booking will automatically become void and you will not be able to start your game.
6.3. People under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs could be turned away and the game becomes void. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who is unfit, abusive or otherwise inappropriate in any way at the sole discretion of Escape Hunt owners and staff.
6.4. Drinks and food cannot be brought into the games rooms or reception rooms.
6.5. To be admitted, you must confirm the full name of the person who is booking and may be asked to confirm the phone number and the e-mail address as well as to show a passport or identity card as well as a credit card.
6.6. For safety reasons, children under 8 years old are not allowed into the reception or in the game rooms. All children under 14 must be accompanied by at least one adult at all times
6.7. As the size of the reception lobby is limited, players of The Escape Hunt Experience are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the game so that the game master can properly support the players, explain to them in detail the nature of the game, its risks and constraints in order to make the experience enjoyable and safe.
6.8. The Escape Hunt Experience recommends that customers wear comfortable clothing for the game.

7.1. All names, designs and slogans used on the website, in any marketing activity and in the premises are the property of Escape Hunt Co. Ltd and its owners. No use or reproduction of any kind is permitted.
7.2. All Escape Hunt players agree not to discuss, disclose or distribute any information regarding the content of the games or other proprietary information.
