Each booking is final. It may be rescheduled up to 3 days prior to the booking date, subject to availability. Within 3 days of the booking, no change, cancellation, or rescheduling is possible. Under no circumstances is a game refundable.<\/p>\n

Pursuant to Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, which provides that the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for leisure activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period, the purchase of subscriptions, tickets, or single-use vouchers is not subject to a right of withdrawal.<\/p>\n

When purchasing gift vouchers or gift boxes, the consumer has a period of fourteen days to exercise their right of withdrawal from a contract concluded at a distance, following telephone solicitation or off-premises, without having to justify their decision or bear any costs other than those provided for in Articles L.221-23 to L.221-25.<\/p>\n

GENERAL<\/h3>\n

1.1.<\/strong> These terms and conditions and any contract incorporating these terms and conditions are governed by French law, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.<\/p>\n

1.2.<\/strong> The game is designed for a team of 2 to 5 players per room. Each booking is private, and under no circumstances will you be grouped with other people outside your group in your room.<\/p>\n

1.3.<\/strong> For safety reasons, children under the age of 10 are not permitted to participate in the activity. Between the ages of 10 and 15, the presence of at least one adult in the room is required. Over the age of 15, no restriction applies. As part of age verification, an official identity document may be requested.<\/p>\n

1.4.<\/strong> EH METZ does not recommend the activity to women who are more than 7 months pregnant and declines all responsibility in the event of any issue.<\/p>\n

1.5.<\/strong> Team members are asked to arrive at the site 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled booking time in order to receive instructions related to the experience.<\/p>\n

1.6.<\/strong> Upon arrival, EH METZ and its staff will request the first and last name under which the booking was made; in the event of a formal verification, you may be asked to confirm your identity using an official document (ID card \/ passport).<\/p>\n

1.7.<\/strong> While on the premises, EH METZ expects its customers to follow the rules and instructions given by the team and to adopt appropriate and respectful behavior toward employees at all times.<\/p>\n

1.8.<\/strong> EH METZ does not tolerate any form of harassment or intimidation toward its employees.<\/p>\n

1.9.<\/strong> Due to the nature of the activity, no photos or recordings may be taken inside the game room.<\/p>\n

1.10.<\/strong> EH METZ expects its visitors and customers not to disclose any details of the game, directly or indirectly, to the public.<\/p>\n

1.11.<\/strong> EH METZ reserves the right to charge customers for any damage, whether intentional or not, caused by misuse of items or inappropriate behavior.<\/p>\n

1.12.<\/strong> Persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or non-prescribed medication will be denied access; the game will not be refunded in such cases. EH METZ reserves the right to refuse entry to any person deemed unfit or displaying abusive or inappropriate behavior.<\/p>\n

1.13.<\/strong> No food or drinks may be brought into the game rooms.<\/p>\n

1.14.<\/strong> As part of your booking, EH METZ collects and stores your personal data without disclosing it to third parties. EH METZ ensures that the confidentiality of your personal information is maintained.<\/p>\n

1.15.<\/strong> By making a booking, you may receive our newsletters, latest offers, and promotions. However, EH METZ allows you to unsubscribe via a link at the bottom of the email received.<\/p>\n

WEBSITE<\/h3>\n

2.1.<\/strong> The website https:\/\/escapehunt.com\/fr\/metz\/<\/a> is owned and operated by EH METZ. The company reserves the right to modify the content of the website at its sole discretion and without prior notice. However, the applicable terms and conditions are those in force at the time of your booking, as received in the confirmation email.<\/p>\n

2.2.<\/strong> The following conditions apply to all users of the EH METZ website and must be read carefully and approved prior to use.<\/p>\n

2.3.<\/strong> The EH METZ website is intended for personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information obtained from this website.<\/p>\n

2.4.<\/strong> The use of all or part of the EH METZ website for fraudulent, illegal, defamatory, harmful, obscene, or unlawful purposes is prohibited.<\/p>\n

2.5.<\/strong> The trademarks and logos displayed on the website are the property of \u201cEscape Hunt Ltd.\u201d You are not authorized to use them without prior written consent, and you acknowledge that such use may constitute an infringement of intellectual property rights.<\/p>\n

BOOKINGS<\/h3>\n

3.1.<\/strong> Only persons aged 18 or over are authorized to make a booking.<\/p>\n

3.2.<\/strong> Only payment confirmed by EH METZ validates the booking.<\/p>\n

3.3.<\/strong> Each booking is personal and may not be transferred to a third party without the prior agreement of EH METZ. Please contact us for special cases.<\/p>\n

3.4.<\/strong> Games may not be transferred or resold for commercial purposes. If this condition is not respected, EH METZ reserves the right to refuse access to its rooms to both the purchaser and the intended beneficiary of the booking.<\/p>\n

3.5.<\/strong> You are responsible for entering accurate contact details in the online booking form. By submitting it, you guarantee to EH METZ that the details provided are true and accurate. EH METZ cannot be held responsible for any input errors or incorrect date or time selections on your part.<\/p>\n

3.6.<\/strong> Following payment, you will receive confirmation of your booking by email only; please check your spam folder. If you do not receive it, please contact us directly. EH METZ does not send confirmations by post or SMS.<\/p>\n

3.7.<\/strong> Bookings may be made no more than 6 months and no less than 2 hours before the desired date and time. For further information or outside these timeframes, please contact us by email or telephone.<\/p>\n

3.8.<\/strong> A booking becomes void and entry may be refused if the team is 15 minutes or more late relative to the scheduled booking time. In this situation, no rescheduling, modification, or refund will be accepted by EH METZ.<\/p>\n

3.9.<\/strong> Each booking is presumed final. It may be rescheduled up to 3 days prior to the booking date, subject to availability. Within 3 days, no change, cancellation, or rescheduling is possible. Under no circumstances is a game refundable.

3.10. Force Majeure.<\/strong> EH METZ is not responsible for delays or obstacles causing your late arrival or failure to attend your booking at the scheduled date and time, whether due to bad weather, strikes, protests, floods, traffic jams, civil unrest, or any other reason. It is your responsibility to arrive on time.
In the event that EH METZ is administratively closed due to force majeure (pandemic, nuclear explosion), EH METZ will be limited to offering a free rescheduling of affected bookings within an 18-month period. If the credit has not been used by the end of the 18-month period, a refund request may then be submitted within 3 months following expiration.<\/p>\n

GIFT VOUCHERS<\/h3>\n

When purchasing a gift voucher, the buyer has a period of fourteen days to exercise their right of withdrawal from a contract concluded at a distance, following telephone solicitation or off-premises, without having to justify their decision or bear any costs other than those provided for in Articles L.221-23 to L.221-25.<\/p>\n

The period begins from:
1\u00b0 The date of contract conclusion, for gift voucher purchases
2\u00b0 The date of receipt of the goods by the consumer or a third party designated by them, other than the carrier, for gift box sales contracts. For contracts concluded off-premises, the consumer may exercise their right of withdrawal from the date of contract conclusion.<\/p>\n

When using gift vouchers or gift boxes, the conditions set out in Section 3 regarding Bookings apply in terms of withdrawal and cancellation rights and fall under Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code.<\/p>\n

\u201cPLAY AT HOME\u201d ESCAPE GAME<\/h3>\n

5.1.<\/strong> Downloadable Escape Game products are not subject to the right of withdrawal pursuant to Article L.121-21-8, 3\u00b0 of the French Consumer Code.<\/p>\n

5.2.<\/strong> It is prohibited to copy, extract, distribute, or modify the content of the products for commercial purposes. Downloading and printing texts, images, and graphic elements of the products are authorized for private, non-commercial use only. Reproduction of drawings, images, audio documents, video sequences, and texts in other electronic or printed publications requires prior written consent from BGP Entertainment. Lack of authorization is punishable as the offense of counterfeiting.<\/p>\n

PRICES AND PAYMENT<\/h3>\n

6.1.<\/strong> The price (VAT included) per person for a game is displayed on the EH METZ website under the \u201cbooking\u201d section.<\/p>\n

6.2.<\/strong> Prices are determined based on the number of players per room (2\u20135 players) and the day of the week.<\/p>\n

6.3.<\/strong> Bookings may be made online via the EH METZ website or in person directly on site.<\/p>\n

6.4.<\/strong> Accepted payment methods are specified on the EH METZ website.<\/p>\n

6.5.<\/strong> Payment is required prior to your visit.<\/p>\n

6.6.<\/strong> If fewer participants attend than originally planned, no refund or credit for the absent participant\u2019s share will be granted.<\/p>\n

6.7.<\/strong> If more participants attend than originally planned, within the room\u2019s maximum capacity (5 people), the additional amount must be paid upon arrival on site.<\/p>\n

BLOCTEL<\/h3>\n

The Bloctel telephone solicitation opposition list allows consumers to no longer be contacted by professionals.
Bloctel allows individuals to register free of charge on the opposition list via the website http:\/\/www.bloctel.gouv.fr<\/a> to prevent telephone solicitation. Numbers are registered for a renewable period of 3 years. The individual is protected by this list within a maximum of 30 days after registration.<\/p>\n
